Helmet, Flying, Luftwaffe, Netzkopfhaube, L Kp N 101, 2nd Type, avec Receivers and Throat Microphone
Great genuine WWII Luftwaffe flying helmet, of the famous 'net-top' Netzkopfhaube L Kp N 101 type introduced in 1941.
Intended for temperate climate zones, this item features a cotton mesh top reinforced with leather parts and does not include any chinstrap: in fact, the assembly is to be kept in place by the straps of the oxygen mask -- not provided here. This is the second version of the helmet, fitted with a buckle above the forehead in order to attach the three-point oxygen mask.
Manufactured by Luftfahrtgerätewerk Hakenfelde in Berlin (cf. production code hdc).
Complete and in good overall condition.
Retains its original receivers, throat microphone, wire and plug.
