Officer's Visor Cap and Garrison Caps, US Army, 1st Lt. Howard Johnson
€550.00
Tax included
Genuine WWII US Army officer's visor cap, manufactured by The House of Craddock in Kansas City, Missouri.
Very good overall condition; retains its original cap badge, leather chinstrap, and buttons; the lack of stiffener gives this hat a 'broken' shape quite popular in the Air Forces.
The name tag still present inside indicates that the present cap once belonged to some Howard F. Johnson. Corresponds to size 7.
Two garrison caps, both featuring the black and gold piping intended for officers and adorned with a 1st Lieutenant rank insignia, come along with the above-mentioned hat. Name Howard Johnson has been written in the 'chocolate' wool hat while laundry number 8645J has been inked in the khaki cotton hat. Both correspond to size 7 ⅛.
