Genuine WWII US Army grouping, which belonged to some Fred Watson and includes the following items:

- pair of dog tags of the early Monel type, issued to Fred Watson, ASN 31224970, Protestant, with name and address of next-of-kin -- here, his mother;

- Good Conduct Medal, coming along with its lapel badge and two ribbon bars.

Nice homogeneous set, in good overall condition.

Fred Watson was born on November 2, 1906 in Oswldtwistle, Lancashire, England and emigrated to the United States in 1925. He was inducted in the US Army on October 19, 1942, went on to serve with 790th Ordnance Light Maintenance Company, 90th Infantry Division and deployed to Europe. He was discharged on November 8, 1945 as a Technician 5th Grade, and passed away on December 14, 1997.
