Genuine WWII US Army shoulder sleeve insignia, 4th Infantry Division.
The 'Ivy Division' landed as part of the first wave on Utah Beach on D-Day, and subsequently participated in the liberation of Cherbourg in late June before joining the 'battle of the hedgerows' in the Bocage in early July, where it sustained heavy casualties.
Excellent overall condition.
