Nice genuine WWII US Army silver alloy 'jump wings', hallmarked N.S. Meyer Inc. Sterling. Intended for being worn on the dress uniform or jump jacket. The original pin is in working order.
Designed by Captain Yarborough and 2nd Lieutenant Minter, the Army Parachutist's Badge was first presented on March 23, 1941. Qualification was six jumps, later reduced to five.
