Scarce genuine WWI US Army M1918 Trench Knife steel scabbard, manufactured by L.F.& C. and dated 1918. This weapon was widely issued to US Rangers, Marines and paratroops during WWII, until officially superseded by the USM3 in 1943. However, many warriors would still prefer the M1918 Trench Knife, as seen on numerous wartime photos.
Quite good overall condition. Upper hook is missing.
