Rare genuine WWII US Army M2 type switchblade knife, designed for paratroopers and intented for cutting the canopy risers when landing in a difficult spot.

Generally carried in the small vertical pocket located under the collar of the jump coat. 

Presto version manufactured by Geo. Schrade Knife Co., Inc. in Bridgeport, Connecticut, and featuring brown bakelite grips.

Blade length: 3.74in.

Very good overall condition; locking system is in working order.
