Nice genuine, American six-pocket bandoleer, as issued to line infantrymen carrying the M1 Carbine, intended for ten-round clips.
Excellent condition.
The Lake City Ordnance Plant lot number 13147 is from after 1945. The last lot number from this factory for the .30 Carbine with standard ammunition in 1945 was 12965.
The factory closed in August 1945, but was reactivated in 1951 for the Korean War, with production resuming in August/September 1951 with lot number 13000.
