

Genuine WWII US Army M1 helmet, front seam and fixed loops, manufactured by McCord, shell number 136 A. 1st type canvas straps with brass buckle and hook. The outer surface of the shell retains most of its original paint; a Captain rank insignia has been painted on the front, while the following markings can be found on the inner surface of the shell: Capt. Falther Hq. 5th Inf.
Comes with its original liner, manufactured by Mine Safey Appliances, featuring khaki cotton web suspension, russet leather sweatband, blackened brass A washers, and leather chinstrap -- fragile.
Homogeneous set in good, worn condition.
Albert Dirk Falther was born on November 24, 1904 in Doesburg, Netherlands and emigrated to the United States at 7 years of age. He became a citizen on August 30, 1935 and later joined the Ohio National Guard, serving as Regimental Supply Officer of the 5th Infantry Regiment. He passed away on January 29, 2002.

The Code provides additional penalties, including the confiscation of the items used or intended for committing the offence.
