End Keeper, Adjustable, for Canvas Chinstrap, M1 helmet
Genuine WWII US blackened brass adjustable end keeper. It was crimped to the end of the canvas chinstrap. The end keeper enabled the wearer to adjust the length of the chinstrap. Most GIs however didn't use the chinstrap as such. They set the clip end at the maximum and buckled the chinstrap up on the rear of the helmet. Perfect to repair or make your chinstrap.

Helmet, Parachutist, US, M1C
Very noce replica of the M1C Paratrooper helmet with swivel bails, with Inland type airborne liner (1st type) and a leather chin cup. It will be delivered with a small or medium mesh net, depending on availability. Introduced in late 1944, the M1C helmet was designed to replace the M2 model used by American paratroopers. It was worn during the final major campaigns of World War II, including in Belgium and Germany. This model featured swivel bales, offering greater durability.

This well-known bead type, initially sold in PXs, quickly became popular and gradually replaced the 1940 version.
