The front shows a 6.3-inch vertical split, while one of the rivets located at the rear is missing; the outer surface has been adorned with a 1st Lieutenant rank insignia, painted under the 8th Infantry Division emblem (decal).
The inner assembly only retains some of its A washers (oxidized) along with fragments of the cotton web suspension.

The Code provides additional penalties, including the confiscation of the items used or intended for committing the offence.
