Nice genuine WWII US Army M1 helmet liner, of the synthetic resin-coated, compressed-fiber type manufactured by Seaman Paper Co.
Some 2nd Lieutenant rank insignia and name Edwards have been painted on the front.
Retains its khaki cotton web suspension and neckband, russet leather sweatband, and OD-painted A washers (oxidized).
Quite good, worn condition.
