Genuine WWII US Army M1 helmet, front seam and fixed loops, manufactured by McCord, shell number 50A 2.

Early canvas chinstrap with brass buckle and hook.

Comes with its original liner, manufactured by Firestone and retaining its khaki cotton suspension (damaged)and blackened-brass A washers.

Nice homogeneous set in quite good, worn condition, covered with a medium-mesh camouflage net of the type issued to the 79th Infantry Division.
