Representing a stylized airplane engine, this badge created on March, 1st 1943, was issued to mechanics, warehousemen of spare parts, parachute packers, various repairers, welders, boilermakers, sheet metal workers, etc. This badge was to be sewn 4 inches above the bottom of the right sleeve (Service Dress) and on the left chest (working clothes).
