Genuine WWII US Army M1936 field bag, khaki canvas, issued in lieu of the haversack to officers and other personnels. Manufactured in Britain by J. & A.H. Ltd. in 1944. Quite good, used condition; retains its shoulder strap (same manufacturer). Name Jodrey Charles W. and ASN 31365390 have been written on the back of the present musette bag. Charles Wilson Jodrey was born on March 8, 1907 in West Townsend, Massachusetts and joined the US Army on July 2, 1943. He went on to serve with 1099th Engineer Utilities Detachment, deployed to Europe and was discharged as a Technician 5th Grade. Genuine WWII US Army M2 Ammunition Bag, of the large khaki canvas vest type issued to collective weapon crews -- machine guns, rocket launchers, and mortars. This is the two-tone version (OD 7 border and straps). In perfect condition, the present vest is complete with all original straps and drawstrings.

Genuine WWII US Barrack Bag, OD canvas cloth. Two were issued to every soldier (labeled A and B). After the indroduction of the better duffel bag, it was used as a laundry bag. Good overall condition with repairs. Label dated May 8, 1944.

Bag, Barrack, Pfc. Charles Jordan, 529th Bomb. Squadron, 5th Air Force, PTO
Genuine WWII US Army khaki canvas barrack bag. Every GI was to be issued two of these: bag A and bag B . Following the introduction of the better duffel bag, the present type was soon used as a laundry bag. In good, used condition, the present bag retains its label dated April 13, 1942. Name Jordan and ASN 33309529 have been painted on the outer surface. Charles Mike Jordan was born on October 19, 1910 in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania and joined the US Army on October 19, 1942. He deployed in the PTO with 529th Bomb. Squadron, 5th Air Force from May 30, 1943 to December 11, 1945 and was discharged eleven days later as a Private First Class. Very nice genuine WWII US Army OD 7 heavy canvas bag, intended for carrying the M-209-B converter. Excellent overall condition; complete with straps.

Bag, Demolition, Parachutist, US Army, Impregnated
Genuine WWII US Army OD 7 canvas bag, of the type used by paratroops for carrying demolition kits, featuring an adjustable carrying strap intended for being carried over the shoulder. Prior to jumping, the snap hook which is usually present on the carrying strap (missing here) is attached onto the parachute harness, while the rear straps secure the whole assembly. Good overall condition. Impregnated.

Bag, Duffle, 1943, 90th Infantry Division, D-Day
Genuine WWII US Army Duffle Bag -- f eaturing a shoulder strap, this green canvas bag was larger and sturdier than the Barrack Bag and could be secured with a padlock. Production markings are hardly legible; d ated 1943. Quite good, used condition; retains its shoulder strap (snap hook is in working order) and shows various inscriptions on the outer surface. Name Raymond P. Fizer and ASN 3753436 are still visible. Raymond Pershing Fizer was born on December 31, 1917 in Marshall, Missouri and joined the US Army on July 15, 1943. He went on to serve with the artillery of 90th Infantry Division and deployed to Europe, participating in the so-called 'battle of the hedgerows' in Normandy. Genuine WWII US Army Duffle Bag . Featuring a shoulder strap, this green canvas bag was larger and sturdier than the Barrack Bag and could be secured with a padlock. Manufactured by Fraser Products Company and d ated 1943. Good, used condition; retains its shoulder strap -- part of the snap hook is missing. This bag features an invasion code made up of three horizontal bars (red-brown-red), as well as various markings: number 42682 , name Albert Friedman and ASN 32089465 . Albert Friedman was born on January 12, 1916 in New York City and joined the US Army on May 1st, 1941. He went on to serve with Company A, 50th Signal Battalion and deployed to Europe, participating in the Normandy campaign. Interesting genuine WWII US Army Duffle Bag, of the green canvas type f eaturing a shoulder strap (missing here), larger and sturdier than the Barrack Bag and which could be secured with a padlock. D ated 1943 (manufacturer's name is illegible). In good used condition, the present bag features various markings, including name Sileymane Mamabe , number 80569 , an invasion code made up of three horizontal bars (green-blue-green) and located next to a capital J and under number 45146 , as well as a large red ace of clubs. Two strips of medical tape have been used to patch a tear in the lower part of the bag. The above-mentioned tactical markings seem to correspond to some unit of the 3rd Armored Division.
