Scarce genuine WWII US Army grouping, made up of a regulation 'Ike Jacket' introduced in April 1944 and a flannel shirt with gas flap, which belonged to some unidentifed Sergeant who deployed to Europe with the 104th Infantry Division as a Combat Leader.

The jacket retains its buttons and the following insignias: Ports of Embarkation (Transportation Corps) and  104th Infantry Division shoulder patches, Sergeant rank stripes with green felt stripes indicating the status of Combat Leader, US and Infantry collar disks, medal ribbons (American Campaign Medal, WWII Victory Medal with one Star, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with four Stars), Meritorious Service Unit Badge, Service Stripe, and Overseas Service Bars. Label is dated June 10, 1944, size 36L. Good overall condition.

Complete with all buttons, the Special flannel shirt also retains its insignias: 104th Infantry Division shoulder patch, Sergeant rank stripes with Combat Leader stripes, and Overseas Service Bar. Size 15 x 34. The present shirt shows some noteworthy moth damage.

Nice homogeneous set.
