Genuine WWII US Army Officer's Notebook, of the standard egulation spiral-bound type.
The first half contains various tables dealing with the Army's organization and tactics, while the remainder is made up of blank pages for personal notes; an encased plastic protractor completes this set.
Complete and in rather good overall condition; personal details written on the first page indicate that it once belonged to Captain Arnold S. Block, ASN O-500702.

Arnold Sylvan Block was born on October 28, 1914 in St. Louis, Missouri and joined the US Army on October 31, 1942. He went on to serve with the Medical Corps and deployed to Europe with 80th Airborne Anti-Aircraft Battalion, 82nd Airborne Division, but was temporarily attached to various units, such as 99th General Hospital in France. He was discharged on January 7, 1946 as a Captain, and passed away on October 25, 2000.
