Pair of genuine WWII US Army dog tags, issued to some Thomas E. Hill, ASN 36041872, vaccinated in 1941 and 1943, blood type A, Protestant, with name and address of next-of-kin -- here, his mother.
Nice homogeneous set, in very good overall condition, retaining both bead chains.
Thomas Edgar Hill was born on April 28, 1917 in Lady Lake, Florida and joined the US Army on July 14, 1941. He went on to serve with the Medical Department and deployed to Europe with 100th General Hospital, among other units. He was discharged on November 16, 1945 as a Staff Sergeant, and passed away on August 3, 1991.
