Genuine WWII US SE-11 Signal Lamp Equipment, issued to Parachute Infantry Regiments (one per Rifle Company on D-Day) as stated in TO/E 7-37. This type, which was also used by Navy Beach Battalions during the Normandy Campaign, could either be carried as a rifle, thanks to the M-341 gunstock, or mounted on a tripod -- in this case, remote control was possible by linking the M-227 signal lamp to the J-51 manipulator via the CD-701 wire.
The present set is complete, including the following accessories: BG-131 carrying case, M-227 lamp, M-341 gunstock, LG-21 tripod, CD-701 wire, M-172 goggles, J-51 manipulator, filter MC-430 and technical manual.
Genuine WWII US Flashing Powerflare, manufactured by The Delta Electric Company in Marion, Indiana, used to mark the landing beaches during an invasion. The globe marked the beach color code: White Beach, Red Beach...

One such lamp was issued to each Parachute Infantry Rifle Company as part of the SE-11 Signal Lamp Equipment Set (as stated in TO/E 7-37, Infantry Rifle Company, Parachute).
