Featuring plastic buttons and gusseted cuffs, this new field jacket was massively issued in the ETO for the first time in late September 1944, on the occasion of Operation Market Garden.
Complete and in very good overall condition despite minor signs of wear.

The two breast pockets featured on the men's jacket are not present on this type, though the tapered flaps are still visible. The present jacket is dated 1944 and retains its original labels but almost illegible: Jackets, Field, M-1943, Women's, 42R . This nice jacket is complete with all buttons and inner draw string. Very good worn condition.
