Nice genuine WWII US Navy senior officer white cap. The bullion oak leaves adorning the visor were intended for the ranks of Commander and Captain.

Quite good, worn condition; retains its original cap badge, chinstrap and buttons; russet leather sweatband is coming apart; size 7 ⅛.
The name tag still present in this cap indicates that it once belonged to some Captain R.E. Kinneman of the Medical Department, 120 McClellan Road, Greenfield, Indiana.
Robert Eugene Kinneman was born on May 18, 1904 in Martinsville, Indiana and passed away on August 14, 1974 -- active service: 1942-1946.
