Quite good, used condition; retains most of its original parts.

Nice genuine WWII US translucent plastic material waterproof case, intended for carrying survival matches. Commonly used by the USAAF, this type was a component of the M-592 kit and all naval life rafts, as well as the C-1 vest. Very good overall condition; retains all original contents.

Knife, Survival, C-1, USAAF, UNITED, Sweetheart Plexiglas Grips
Genuine WWII US folding knife, included in the C-1 Emergency Sustenance Vest issued to Army Air Forces and Navy pilots. Manufactured by United in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The original black bakelite grips have been replaced with an interesting handcrafted version made in plexiglas, through which appear two photographic portraits of a woman, and a piece of playing card (king of spades) on which mention JB USN '43 has been written. Complete and in quite good, used condition. Blade length: 4.8in.

Genuine WWII US Army M1942 mosquito headnet, fitted with a drawstring and intended for being worn over the 44G5062 reversible survival hat. Issued to troops deployed in tropical areas and included in the kit of the USAAF Emergency Vest Type C-1. Complete and in quite good overall condition.

Vest, Life Preserver, Mae West, Type AN6519-1, USAAF, 1945, with Dye Marker
Genuine WWII USAAF & USN Type AN6519-1 life preserver, of the standard regulation type intended for pilots and other aircrews -- the legendary 'Mae West'. Manufactured by United States Rubber Co. on July 26, 1945. In good overall condition, the present life jacket is complete with straps, both emplacements for CO² cartridges, and its scarce sea-marker packet, introduced in August 1943; when dissolving in water, the yellow-orange powder (fluorescein dye) contained in the pouch would mark the area around personnel who had fallen into the sea.

Rare genuine WWII US Navy M-592 Back Pad Kit, made up of a rubberized canvas case fitted with white cotton cloth shoulder straps and intended for carrying various survival tools and supplies -- poncho, gloves, mosquito head net, machete, flares, signal mirror, whistle, drinking water, rations, first-aid kit, fishing kit, compass, matches... This assembly was to be issued to Navy and Marine Corps pilots and aircrews. Good overall condition; Talon zipper and snap fasteners are in working order. Accessories are not included.

Projector, Pyrotechnic, Mk 3, US Navy, 1943, Complete
Great and rare genuine WWII US NAvy Mk 3 hand projector, coming in its original package with six red flares. Introduced for use by the Navy in early 1943 to supplement the various Very flare guns, this hand projector was packaged in a sealed waterproof container along with six distress rockets and designed for being included in life rafts and other emergency equipment. This type was soon superseded by the Mk 4, almost identical apart from a few differences in the barrel and the safety mechanism. The present package features the following markings: The Cuneo Press, Inc., Packaging Division - Pyrotechnic Projector and Six (6) Very's Cartridges - Contract No. N288s11320 - Date of Packing, June, 1943 - Distress Signal. Complete; sealed pack in untouched condition.

Genuine WWII USAAF survival knife, as issued in the emergency lifeboats (dinghy). Classification No. 17-B. Mannufactured by Western States Cutlery Co. in Boulder, Colorado. Based on the British 27C/2023 knife, this type could float thanks to its wooden handle. Complete and in very good overall condition.

Designed for carrying a first-aid kit, this two-compartment HBT pouch features a belt loop and two snap fasteners -- both in working condition. The flap is adorned with a red cross above mention US Navy . Stock No. S2-1063. Manufactured by Conray Products Co.
