Nice genuine WWII US Navy M1926 life preserver.
Supplied by the Navy, this dual-tube belt was issued to troops participating in amphibious operations; the belt could be inflated using two CO² cartridges, or by mouth via two valves fitted mouthpieces.
Manufactured by The Firestone Tire & Rubber Co. in Akron, Ohio; contract number is hardly legible.
Excellent overall condition; comes in the remnants of its original cardboard box.
