Genuine WWII US Army Air Forces cardboard box speed control valve assembly for automatic pilot. The speed control valve is used to regulate the rate of flow of oil from the servos of the autopilot system to adjust the responsiveness of the automatic pilot when the attitude of the airplane changes.
Manufactured by Jack & Heintz, Inc., this box is dated December 27, 1943.

The Code provides additional penalties, including the confiscation of the items used or intended for committing the offence.
