Genuine WWII US Army M1942 bayonet, intended for the M1 Garand, manufactured by Oneida Limited and dated 1942.
Subsequently shortened by American Fork & Hoe (hallmark AFH on the tang) -- the tip of the blade shows a Bowie type angle. This type was redesignated M1 in March 1943.
Good overall condition; comes in its OD bakelite scabbard.

The Code provides additional penalties, including the confiscation of the items used or intended for committing the offence.
