Great genuine WWII Canadian battledress blouse, 1939 Pattern. Manufactured by S. & G. Clothing Co. Ltd. in Montreal, Quebec and dated 1943. Size 3. The present jacket, of the type intended for other ranks, features the following cloth insignia: 'Canada' nationality shoulder titles, Royal Canadian Army Medical Corps shoulder titles, Corporal rank stripes, instructor (cadre) cuff badge and service chevrons on the lower right sleeve (two years of service), and Canadian Volunteer Service Medal ribbon bar on the breast. A lanyard is also present on the left shoulder. Complete and in excellent overall condition.

The present jacket, of the type intended for other ranks, retains a pair of Hastings & Prince Edward Regiment shoulder titles. Quite good, worn condition -- shows various signs of wear and repair; cuff buttons are missing; shoulder tabs feature early plastic buttons. Name H.T. Ames has been written inside.

Nice genuine WWII Canadian battledress blouse, 1939 Pattern. Manufactured by Tip Top Tailors Ltd. in Toronto, Ontario and dated June 1942. Size 2. The present jacket, of the type intended for other ranks, features the following cloth insignia: 'Canada' nationality shoulder titles, Lance Corporal rank stripes, and ribbon bars on the breast (1939-1945 Star, France and Germany Star, Defence Medal, Canadian Volunteer Service Medal with Overseas Clasp, and War Medal 1939-1945). Good, worn condition; shoulder tabs feature early plastic buttons, while the button of the left breast pocket is missing.

The present jacket, of the type intended for other ranks, features the following cloth insignia: Major rank insignia on shoulder tabs, 'Canada' nationality title on both sleeves, service chevrons on the lower right sleeve (four years of service, including one year before September 9, 1939), and ribbon bars on the breast (1914-1915 Star, British War Medal, Victory Medal 1914-1919, and Canadian Volunteer Service Medal with Overseas Clasp). Complete and in very good overall condition.

Genuine WWII Canadian battledress blouse, 1939 Pattern. Manufactured by S. & G. Clothing Co. Ltd. in Montreal, Quebec and dated 1944. Size 15. The present jacket, of the type intended for other ranks, features the following cloth insignia: Royal Canadian Army Service Corps shoulder titles and 1st Canadian Corps insignia. Quite interestingly, the left shoulder tab has been adorned with the British Eighth Army formation badge, indicating that the former owner served in the Mediterranean Theater of Operations; some good conduct stripe has been sewn on the lower sleeve. Complete and in quite good overall condition despite some moth damage. The front buttons have been replaced with a Lightning zipper (in working order).

The present jacket, of the type intended for other ranks, features the following cloth insignia: 'Canada' nationality shoulder titles, Royal Canadian Artillery titles, II Canadian Corps insignia, Sergeant rank stripes with artillery badge, service chevrons on the lower right sleeve (six years of service, including one year before September 9, 1939), General Service badge on the left sleeve, and medal ribbons (1939-1945 Star, France and Germany Star, Defence Medal, and Canadian Volunteer Service Medal with Overseas Clasp). Complete and in excellent overall condition.

Nice genuine WWII Canadian battledress blouse, 1939 Pattern. Manufactured by Master Craft Uniform Co. Reg'd in Quebec City, Provice of Quebec. Size 10. Date is illegible. The present jacket, of the type intended for other ranks, features the following cloth insignia: Lieutenant rank insignia, Royal Canadian Artillery titles, 'Canada' nationality shoulder titles, 2nd Infantry Division insignia, service chevrons on the lower right sleeve (five years of service, including one year before September 9, 1939), and medal ribbons (1939-1945 Star, Italy Star, France and Germany Star). Complete and in very good overall condition despite some moth damage on the left sleeve and in the lower part of the right breast pocket. The name tag still present in the right sleeve indicates that it once belonged to some W.G. Johanneson . William Gillis Roy Johanneson was born on July 26, 1920 in Winnipeg, Manitoba to an English mother and an Icelandic father, and volunteered in the Canadian Army in 1940. He went on to serve with the Royal Canadian Artillery and deployed to Europe.
