Genuine Titter magazine, October 1953 issue, 'Gals and Gags'. Known as 'America's Merriest Magazine' and published twice a month, this magazine was mostly intended for male readers. Quite interestingly, this is the very issue brandished by Captain Herbert Sobel (David Schwimmer) in the first episode of HBO's miniseries Band of Brothers . Complete and in excellent overall condition.

Genuine WWII US Army manual, New Infantry Drill Regulations , printed in April 1941. Dimensions: 4.5in x 7.5in. Complete (310 pages), used condition; Annotations visible on the last page indicate that the present manual belonged to Private Frank M. Hoffman , who enlisted on April 7, 1942 in the Connecticut National Guard. Frank Matthew Hoffman III was born on July 12, 1924 in Waterbury, Connecticut and was inducted in Federal Service on March 16, 1943 (ASN 31328470). He was awarded his 'jump wings' and went on to serve with Company E, 502nd PIR, 101st Airborne Division, parachuting into Normandy on D-Day prior to taking part in every campaign his unit participated in. Rare genuine WWII Allied map of Normandy, Carentan , Sheet 31/18 S.E. , scale 1:25,000. Edition of June 1943. Based on a version drawn by the British General Staff-Geographical Section and edited by the 660th Engineer Topographic Battalion of the US Army, the present map covers a large perimeter bounded by the towns of Cretteville, Saint-Côme-du-Mont, Carentan and Le Plessis. Some of the most emblematic battlefields where the 101st Airborne Division fought the Fallschirmjäger-Regiment 6 and the 17. ᛋᛋ-Panzergrenadier Division „ Götz von Berlichingen “ from June 6 to 13, 1944 are visible on the present map -- the 'Dead Man's Corner', Angoville-au-Plain, the 'Purple Heart Lane', La Billonnerie, 'Bloody Gulch'... Dimensions: 20in x 24.6in. Excellent overall condition.

This map, which encompasses the whole Manche département and most of the Calvados and Orne départements , includes all DZ, LZ, and landing beaches of Operation Neptune. Edited by the General Staff-Geographical Section of the War Office in 1943. Quite good overall condition. Dimensions: 30.5in x 34in.

Edited by the General Staff-Geographical Section of the War Office in 1943. Dimensions: 20in x 22.4in. Quite good overall condition; the following mention has been written on the right side: Richard Wagner 504 Prcht Inf. This annotation indicates that the present map may have belonged to Richard R. Wagner , Regimental Headquarters, 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division.

Based on a version drawn by the British General Staff-Geographical Section in 1943 and edited by the US Army, the present map, which was initially drawn from previous Dutch and French maps and completed by aerial reconnaissance photos, covers the village of Drunen, North Brabant, and its surroundings. God overall condition; the censorship ink stamp is visible on the reverse, under name Emery Allen. Cpl. Allen T. Emery, mortarman, Hq.
