Rare genuine WWII US Army M2 type switchblade knife, designed for paratroopers and intented for cutting the canopy risers when landing in a difficult spot.

Generally carried in the small vertical pocket located under the collar of the jump coat. 

Featuring antler grips; manufactured by Press Button Knife Co. in Walden, New York.

Blade length: 355in.

Quite good overall condition; locking system is in working order.
