Genuine WWII photograph showing 1st Lt. Emzy W. Gaydon, Jr., 502nd Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Aiborne Division in Holland in October 1944. Original print, in excellent overall condition. Format: 4in x 5in. Comes along with a copy of the division's commemorative booklet published at the end of the war. Emzy Wilson Gaydon, Jr. was born on December 2, 1916 in Ringgold, Texas, joined the National Guard in 1934 and entered the Federal Service on January 6, 1941 (ASN 20847995).
