Genuine WWII US Army ski goggles, intended for mountain troops. The acetate lenses were designed to prevent the wearer from being dazzled by the sun reflection on the snow.

This is the early type, featuring 'triangular' lenses.

In worn condition, these goggles come in their original case with a pair of spare lenses.

Homogeneous set but fragile assembly; broken elastic and missing stud on the case.
