Lot of ten issues of Screaming Eagle , the official newsletter intended for members of the 101st Airborne Division Association. 1954 series: January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, November, and December (September and October are missing). Homogeneous set, in good overall condition, which belonged to George S. Gillespie . George Smith Gillespie  was born on December 8, 1919 in Glasgow, Scotland and arrived in Boston, Massachusetts on September  9, 1923. He joined the US Army on January 30, 1942 in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania (ASN 33146857). He went on to serve in Europe with Service Company, 502nd PIR, 101st Airborne Division and took his oath as American citizen on July 26, 1944 in Plymouth, England.
