Pair of genuine WWII US Army leather jump boots of the type authorized in August 1942, manufactured by Herman Shoes.

This model  features the specific toe cap, twelve pairs of eyelets, four distinctive oblique rows of stitching intended for strenghthening the quarter, a two-piece sole with iron, and cotton laces. Label is still present in the right boot. Both heels seem to have been replaced with some resin material.

Homogeneous pair in quite good, worn condition. Name William C. Blair and some hardly-legible ASN have been written in both boots.
