Title, No. 5 Commando, Embroidered

Extremely scarce genuine WWII British No. 5 Commando shoulder title. Embroidered version.

Created in July 1940, this unit will raid the coast of France in 1941. In 1942, it will send some of its demoliton experts to the No. 2 Commando in order to participate at the Saint Nazaire Raid (Operation Chariot). It will then serve in Madagascar, India and Burma.
