Hallmark [S] indicates that the present bayonet was manufactured by Savage-Stevens Co. in Chicopee Falls, Massachusetts, USA. This American company produced over one million 'spike' bayonets for Britain and her Dominions in 1941 and 1942 under the Lend-Lease Act.
Comes in its original tubular steel scabbard, along with a Canadian webbing bayonet frog.
Homogeneous set, in good overall condition.
