Rare genuine WWII British Mk I bayonet, intended for the Lee-Enfield No. 4 Mk I rifle yet also adaptable on the Sten Mk V machine carbine.

Dated 1942.

This is the early cross-section version of the spike bayonet, only produced by Singer Manufacturing Co. in Clydebank, Scotland from late 1941 to early 1942. 

Comes in its original steel scabbard.

Homogeneous set, in excellent overall condition.
