Helmet, Mk II, British, RAOC, 53rd (Welsh) Infantry Division
Genuine WWII British Mk II helmet, retaining its original liner and chinstrap.
Liner was manufactured by BMB (Briggs Motor Bodies) in Dagenham in 1940; shell is hallmarked AMC (Austin Motor Company) and dated 1941.
Size 7 ¾.
The outer surface of the shell has been adorned with two painted markings: the 53rd (Welsh) Infantry Division insignia on the front, and the Royal Army Ordnance Corps flash on the left side.
Good overall condition.
