Good, used condition; re-used by the French government following the Liberation, as indicated by the EOGN markings (École des Officiers de la Gendarmerie Nationale).
Created by President Raymond Poincaré on December 31, 1918, the EOGN was established in Versailles, Yvelines département prior to being transferred to Melun, Seine-et-Marne département, on October 1st, 1945. Since September 1st, 2024, the EOGN has become the AMGN (Académie Militaire de la Gendarmerie Nationale).
Overall height: about 2 feet and 7.50 inches.
