Rare genuine WWII British Mk I bayonet, intended for the Lee-Enfield No. 4 Mk I rifle.
This is the early cross-section version of the spike bayonet, only produced by Singer Manufacturing Co. in Clydebank, Scotland from late 1941 to early 1942.
The monogram of King George VI is cleary visible: G♔R (Georgius Rex).
Comes in its original scabbard, of the scarce bakelite tubular type.
Homogeneous set, in good overall condition.
