Genuine WWII British bronze plate, coming from some Storm Boat 20 Mark 1.
Manned by a two-man crew of the Royal Engineers, Storm Boats were small assault craft made in oak and plywood (20 feet by 6.6 feet, roughly 6 meters by 1.80 meter), powered by a 50-hp outboard engine and able to carry a dozen of men with their equipment, a light vehicle such as a jeep, or a 6-pounder anti-tank gun for the crossing of watercourses.
Made by R.Y.Y. Ltd. in 1944, serial number B3522.
