Extremely rare and interesting genuine WWII British Type A Mk III transceiver vibrator unit, introduced in 1944.
Produced by The Marconi Company (4,000 units), this clandestine transceiver, designed for Special Operations Executive agents and Resistance organizations, was intended for superseding the Type 3 Mk II (B2), quite bulky.
Generally carried in a small suitcase, as seen here, the two blocks could also be stored in two separate waterproof containers in order to be dropped from the air.

The Code provides additional penalties, including the confiscation of the items used or intended for committing the offence.
