Genuine WWII US Army half shelter tent, manufactured by Green Bay Awning & Tent Co. and dated 1941. The present early type comes with its three-part mast.
As part of his issue, every GI had a shelter-half, usually rolled into the havresack's pack carrier. A two-man tent could be pitched by buttoning together two shelter halves.
