Genuine WWII US Army half shelter tent, of the first type.
Manufactured by Clifton Mfg. Co. in 1942.
As part of his issue, every GI had a shelter-half, usually rolled into the M1928 haversack's pack carrier. A two-man tent could be pitched by buttoning two similar pieces together.
Very good overall condition; comes along with its 1942-dated mast and five wooden pegs.
