Genuine WWII US Army shelter-half tent, second type.

Manufactured by Thompson's in 1945.

As part of his issue, every GI had a shelter-half, usually rolled into the havresack's pack carrier; a two-man tent could be pitched by buttoning two shelter-halves together.

Quite good overall condition despite a couple of tears; comes with its mast and five wooden pegs.
