Extremely rare genuine WWII Canadian helmet cover, made in camouflaged oiled cloth and impregnated with anti-vesicant product, used by most Commonwealth forces.
Covering head and shoulders and commonly worn as a light rain cover, this item saw action with the Royal Navy crews manning landing craft off the Normandy coast on D-Day.
Manufactured by Aristo in Galt, Ontario in 1942.
Complete and very well preserved; markings are clearly visible.
Extremely hard to find in such a great condition --- don't miss it!
Comes along with some Mk II helmet.
