Great genuine WWII Canadian field service cap, made by Buffalo Cap Co. Ltd. in Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1943.

Introduced in 1937 for most services of the Army, this side hat was to be worn with the Battledress. Although progressively superseded by the beret from 1943 onwards, this type of headgear remained in use until the end of the war.

Complete and in excellent overall condition; retains its original Royal Canadian Artillery cap badge.
