Scarce genuine WWII Canadian cap badge, Le Régiment de la Chaudière. To be worn on the khaki beret.

Very goood condtion. Hallmarked W. Scully Montréal.

Recruited in the province of Québec, on June 6, 1944, the 'Chauds' landed in the second wave on Juno Beach (Nan White) as part of the 8th Canadian Infantry Brigade, 3rd Canadian Infantry Division and kept fighting throughout the whole Battle of Normandy.
