Front: First wave of American soldiers on Omaha Beach on June 6, 1944.

Reverse: the five landing beaches surrounded by parachutes representing the airborne divisions.

Ribbon: the sand represents the beaches and the green represents the Normandy battlefield. In the center, the different colors of the Allied flags.
