Nice genuine WWII US Army wire cutters, of the large type intended for clearing the way through barbed wire. This long version (30.7in) was manufactured by H.K. Porter, Inc. in Boston, Massachusetts and was part of armored vehicles tool kits.
Good, used condition. Found in Normandy.
The present artifact comes from a significant collection built up by a Norman collector in the last thirty years.
