Original letter and envelope sent to Private Raymond G. Geddes, Jr., 501st PIR by his sister when Ray was stationed at Fort benning, Georgia.

Postmarked on April 13, 1943. A couple of a baby's pictures complete the present lot.

Staff Sergeant Raymond Geddes, Jr., Company G, 3rd Battalion, 501st Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division jumped in Normandy on D-Day and was wounded two days later at the infamous 'Dead Man's Corner'.
