Interesting lot of eighteen genuine WWII USAAF photographs, taken in September 1943 in Salt Lake City, Utah and showing various elements of 455th Bomb. Group, which later deployed to the Mediterranean and European theaters of operations as part of the 15th Air Force.

The commanding officer, Colonel Kenneth A. Cool, is visible in some of these pictures.

Original prints, on the reverse of which some captions have been written.

Nice homogeneous set, in very good overall condition.
